Replace oil filter - Replace nozzle and adjust electrodes
- Adjust barometric damper
- Check transformer
- Test flue damper operation
- Check/adjust temp and pressure settings
- Test safety controls
- Oil motor bearings
- Check CO level of exhaust
- Check all oil connections in unit
- Clean condensate trap if high efficiency boiler
- Remove rust, soot and clean or adjust burners
- Adjust gas/air mixture for optimum efficiency
- Check electrical wiring and tighten all electrical connections
- Check fire pot, comb. air wheel, and pump coupling
- Check thermostat and make adjustments when necessary
- Drain expansion tank if unit has isolation valves
- Check and tighten all exhaust pipe connections
- Inspect and clean heat exchanger thoroughly
- Cycle unit and make adjustments accordingly
- Analyze unit’s operation and appearance and inform of its efficiency, condition and any necessary recommendations.
